TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Confidentiality The content of sessions may be recorded in the form of notes prepared by me. The content of the notes is accessible only to me and is kept under lock and key. Notes will be destroyed after a period of one year from the end of therapy. All sessions are treated as confidential. As a therapist, I reserve the right to share the content of sessions only in the following cases:

1. As a therapist, I participate in regular sessions with my mentor/instructor and also regularly continue my education. During such meetings, I also discuss issues raised during therapeutic sessions. However, client names or other data enabling identification in any way are never disclosed. To ensure confidentiality, client codes are used.
2. In the event of obtaining information that would threaten the life of my client or other persons, I reserve the right to inform the family doctor or other emergency services about these threats. Before taking the above actions, I always inform the client.
3. In the event that I determine that the client should be referred for treatment to a person with more appropriate qualifications than me in the area of specific ailments, I reserve the right to transfer information about the client to that person. Nevertheless, this always happens with the knowledge and acceptance of the client.
4. If required by a court or if the client personally requests a written opinion on the scope of therapy.
5. If I determine that the client is engaged in any terrorist activity.

Therapeutic Sessions

1. A consultation session lasts a full clock hour (60 minutes). Therapeutic sessions are arranged individually with each patient and last from one to four hours. Sessions take place at an agreed place and time.
2. If it becomes necessary for me to cancel a meeting, I will make every effort to immediately establish another substitute time and place for the meeting adapted to the client’s needs. In the event that I am unable to offer another appropriate session – fees will not be charged.

Fees

1. The fee for an hour-long consultation session is £65 payable in advance, after arranging the meeting date, by bank transfer to the account below. The cost and form of payment for therapeutic sessions is determined individually during the consultation meeting. The same principle applies to telephone sessions or those using a communicator such as Skype. The cost of a home visit depends on the time needed to travel to the meeting place and is determined individually with each interested client.
2. In the event it becomes necessary to reschedule a session to another date, notification of its cancellation is required. Notification should be delivered by the client (in person, by phone, or email) no later than 48 hours before the planned meeting time. In case of failure to meet the deadline, I reserve the right to charge fees for cancelled sessions. I also reserve the right to terminate therapy if two sessions in a row have been cancelled due to the client’s fault.

Termination

1. In case of early termination of therapy, please inform me with one week’s notice; in case of failure to meet the termination deadline, I reserve the right to charge a fee for the last, final session.
2. I reserve the right to immediately terminate a session in the event that the client poses any physical or verbal threat to me, the client (self-harm), or other persons present at the therapy location, or if there is a threat of damage to property at the therapy location.
3. I reserve the right to immediately terminate a session if the client is in a state indicating alcohol consumption or under the influence of other intoxicants.
